Graduation 2014
2014 was a very successful year for our students. We had eight graduates, with seven of these moving on to post secondary education. We have students entering courses at NSCC including Early Childhood Education, Office Management, Welding, Automotive Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, and a two year Heritage Carpentry course. Bursaries were handed out, including one for $1,250 which allowed one student to go directly to college when it was very likely they would have needed to take a year off and delay their education due to financial reasons.
We also experienced a very moving student address speech to a crowd of over 100. This from a student who initially came to us due to extreme anxiety issues. Great successes all around, and we wish you all well in your future endeavours!
